A lot of the time when people ask me what I want to accomplish in the animation industry, I focus on craft. I tell them my goal is to be able to work on any production team, in any position, and be capable of strong work. Every time I've said that, it's been the truth, and it still is now, but there is a goal of mine that I usually don't share with people.
I want to make animation that pushes for something unique. While times seem tough for animators these days, I'm incredibly excited to be working at a time where so many new, amazing works of art are brimming to the surface. Whether I lead in this grand influx of new creators or play a small part is unimportant to me. All I want is to make something with others.
So let's make something new.
And fun.
And have an absolute blast making it.
